As our generation is growing older and more mature, we are inheriting more responsibilities of the future, and the world is slowly becoming Ours To Build
MISSION
To provide schools across India access to personalized MUN simulations and classes free of cost on an online platform.
VISION
MUN Clubs, for students, by students
WHAT WE DO
THE SERVICE WE OFFER
Ours To Build aims to introduce your students to MUN, and subsequently set up a MUN club in the school. OTB facilitates and organizes this club for the first three months, after which the best student is chosen and mentored to become the leader of the club in their respective school. This both enhances the opportunities available to students, as well as enriches their extracurricular portfolio.
FAQ
Some of our most frequent queries
What is MUN and its purpose?
MUN stands for Model United Nations It is a model or a simulation of the UN that students can participate in. Students, otherwise known as delegates, are assigned a country from whose perspective they must debate the topic of any given committee. The purpose of MUN is to help students understand international relations, as well as teach them important skills like public speaking, communication, debate and critical thinking.
Why is MUN beneficial for students?
Being experienced in MUN helps students be in a better condition to participate in real MUNs, and also gain knowledge about international relations, and global problems. Participating in MUNs also betters research, collaborative and debate skills, as well sharpens critical thinking and thinking on the spot.
How is MUN different from other forms of debate?
MUN is quite different from other forms of debate such as parliamentary for two main reasons: firstly, MUN does not require students to be in opposing teams, but rather as individuals each with nuanced stances based on the country they have been assigned. Secondly the purpose of a committee is to come to a consensus, rather than for one side to win or lose.
Who can use OTB (Ours to Build)?
While anyone is free to reach out to us, OTB is targeted at helping schools develop their extracurriculars by establishing MUN clubs within their school. However, anyone who has any questions should feel free to reach out to us through email. Within schools the MUN club will be targeted for higher grades, preferably grades 8 to 12, although we are willing to adapt according to a school’s needs.
Are there any charges?
It is completely free of cost.

OUR INTEREST IN MUN
Both of us are passionate MUNners and have jointly participated in 10 conferences, and have individually participated in many more. Together we already run a MUN club in our school (Neev Academy).
We are interested in MUN because we enjoy understanding the role that many international leaders have to play, and being faced with the challenges of our times. This led us to participate in MUN conferences hosted online, locally and internationally. After our endearing and insightful MUN experience, we wanted to give back to students and hope to use this platform to do so.
